The premiere of Illumination’s big summer title Minions & Monsters and a touching tribute to French-Iranian comic-book artist and director Marjane Satrapi, who passed away on June 3rd, kicked off the 2026 edition of the Annecy Animation Festival on Sunday evening on a powerful note.
