Universal Dates ‘Donkey’ Movie from ‘Shrek’ Universe for June 2028

It’s official: The hilarious and hyperactive co-star of DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek franchise will hit the big screen in his own spin-off, Donkey. Universal Pictures plans to release the pic in theaters on Friday, June 30, 2028. It will open the same day as Warner Bros.
